Dr. Gerald Lind
Gerald Lind studied History and German Linguistics and Literature at the University of Vienna and the University of Edinburgh. From 2006 to 2009 Lind was a member of the Doctoral College “Cultures of Difference” at the University of Vienna. Currently, Lind works as a lecturer in literary history, literary critic, fiction writer, and expert for doctoral studies. Gerald Lind is co-responsible for the doctoral studies center DocService and for the Doctoral Academy Graz at the University of Graz.
Lind has published and co-edited books, collections of essays, articles and reviews in the fields of cultural and literary studies as well as on the social dimension of academic life. Relevant book publications are the monograph "Das Gedächtnis des Mikrokosmos" (2011), the novels "Zerstörung" (2013) and "Lumbers Reise" (2016), and the collections "Ambivalenzraum Universität" (2016, co-edited with Doris Pany) and "Wissenschaft Macht Nachwuchs" (2017, co-edited with Stefanie Lerch and Susanne Kink).
